Construction of the island began in early 2011 (we found it on Landsat 7 ETM+ and also later on Landsat 8-9 images). The island was filled in mid-2016. The bridge connecting the island to the mainland was completed at the same time or a little later. The tourism project consists of a circular piece of land in the shape of the yin-yang symbol. The island has a diameter of about 2.4 km and covers an area of about 260 hectares.
The island is announced to become an eco-tourism centre with residential buildings, a cruise port, a marina, hotels, resorts, a theme park and much more.
