REVAMP is a project aiming at Regional Validation of MERIS
Chlorophyll products in North Sea Coastal Waters. REVAMP is co-funded
by the European Commission within the Fifth Framework Programme
"Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development". REVAMP was launched
in February 2002 by a consortium of 8 partners from different European
countries, and will be completed in January 2005.
This
web site informs you about the background of the project: abstract, objectives, approach, and work packages. It gives an overview of the
scientific cruises that were made for obtaining
the MERIS validation measurements.
You
will also be informed about results. Some publications are on-line available, and we
will also inform you where and when you can learn about the project
from REVAMP partners.
Visually
attractive background information on REVAMP-related topics, such
as MERIS, algae and the
North Sea, is provided by links, and under Data
Services.
