smos-box 2.2 add-on for beam 4.10.x (27.06.2012)

I have downloaded BEAM 4.10.3 Downloads (22.06.2012) and I want to add SMOS-Box 2.2 but I get the following error when I try to download it.
" this is an add on installer. The directory you have selected doesn't contain the target application. Please choose another one."

Which Directory is the correct directory?

Normally the path to the directory on a Windows system is something like "C:\Program Files\beam-4.10.03". It is the directory which contains the folders like "bin", "config", "lib", etc.
After installing this add-on you should also be able to open the MIR_SMUDP2 data.

best wishes

Thank you for responding. I am getting that message when I download it on my mac. I have tried downloading the older version of beam as well as the add-on to match it and I am still getting the same message when I try and download the add-on. Any suggestions?

You really get an error when you download the SMOS-Box installer? Which application reports the error?

Anyway, the correct directory is the 'beam-4.10' folder that should be located in your 'Applications' folder. 'Directory' is a synonym for 'folder'.
