You have to download the corresponding SMOS L2 Ocean Salinity product. The BEAM SMOS-Box does not do retrieval of Ocean Salinity from L1c Brightness Temperature. Ocean salinity processing is done by ESA.

Do you already have an algorithm for retrieving Ocean Salinity and want to know how to implement it in BEAM? Do you want to re-implement the existing retrieval algorithm in BEAM?
