RE: Error: Cannot construct org.esa.beam.framework.gpf.graph.Graph
toggle
Hi,

I'm triying to run GPT for mosaicing, forcing the use of the system JVM instead of the one provided with BEAM. I accomplished that changing the line:
1"$app_java_home/bin/java"

to just:
1"java"

on gpt.sh.

My installed JVM is the one from Oracle:
java version "1.7.0_03"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_03-b04)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 22.1-b02, mixed mode)

Which differs from the one from BEAM, a bit older:
java version "1.6.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_25-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode)

I was expecting that everything should be OK, But I'm getting this error:

Error: Cannot construct org.esa.beam.framework.gpf.graph.Graph as it does not have a no-args constructor : Cannot construct org.esa.beam.framework.gpf.graph.Graph as it does not have a no-args constructor
---- Debugging information ----

class : org.esa.beam.framework.gpf.graph.Graph
required-type : org.esa.beam.framework.gpf.graph.Graph
path : /graph
line number : 1

Is there something else I should take into account when changing the JVM ?

Hi Sergi,

currently BEAM does not support Java 7.

Best regards,
Thomas
