RE: Chris Proba - Problems with orthorectification
Hello,

I am working with some Chris Proba images of Mexico (central coordinates 104.991005W, 19.509222N). I'm trying to reproject it to UTM 13N WGS84, and also consider topography with GETASSE30 DEM.

I performed the orthorectification as Ralf Quast explained in the "Orthorectification" post. It results in an inverted image (the image is upsidedown!).

At the beginning I thought that it might be a problem with the negative sign of the coordinates (-104.991005W), but if there was a problem with it, it may result in a mirror effect, not upside down. Even though, I tried to perform a orthorectification changing the sign, but it didn't work (not a valid image resulted).

Does anybody knows how to fix this problem? Any idea about what happened?

Thank you!

Hi, could you put the product data to somewhere I can download them?

Hi Ralf!

I can put it in my dropbox. I may do an invitation to you by some e-mail address. Which one shall I use?

Which data do you need? The atmospherically corrected images, the geometric corrected, the GPC text file and the orthorectified image will work for you?

Thank you very much!

I could not figure out what the problem is, because you forgot to put the data files (you put only the dim files) into the dropbox. But in VISAT there is 'Tools -> Data Flip ...' that flips the data vertically, horizontally or both. Would this solve the problem?
