Graticule layer problem
beam layers geocoding nasa data formats productreader
11/3/11 12:08 AM
We have implemented a product reader for SeaWiFS L1A data files. When attempting to apply a graticule overlay, an error is encoutered.
We have traced this to an issue with the drawTextLabels method in the GraticuleLayer class. It seems that a few of the textGlyphs entries
have NaNs for position elements. MOST are properly populated, however when the NaNs are encountered, the graticule fails to be completely rendered and even seems to enter an endless error loop (well, seems endless - it may eventually stop, but I've not had the patience let it try emoticon

Any thoughts? Is there a way to prevent NaNs from getting through?

The product reader code is available at: https://github.com/seadas/seadas/tree/master/seadas-obpg-reader

Thanks,
Sean

Hi Sean,

Yes, probably. I've just pushed a possible fix, see http://www.brockmann-consult.de/beam-jira/browse/BEAM-1354
