However I cannot perform an ICOL correction to an orthorectified product and I cannot apply an orhtorectification to an ICOL product…. Is this a common problem and is there a way to circumvent this problem?

You must save the product in BEAM-DIMAP format and then open the dim file in an editor. You will find at the beginning of the file a tag similar to the following: 1... 2 <Production> 3 <DATASET_PRODUCER_NAME /> 4 <PRODUCT_TYPE>MER_RR__1N</PRODUCT_TYPE> 5 </Production> 6... Change the PRODUCT_TYPE from MER_RR__1N to MER_RR__1P. Afterwards the orthorectification should work. best wishes Marco
