Hi,

I have just updated to VISAT 4.6.1 and previously readable projected_subset.dim files come up with the error:

An Exception occured:
Type: java.lang.NullPointerException
No Message text available

Followed by a "not able to read file" error message.

The file is opened ok after first projecting but then fails on subsequent attempts. Can you advise on what the problem may be?

Please upload the file to out FTP-Server, so we can investigate the problem.

Hello Caren,

the problem is caused by a pin located outside of the product boundary. It's the pin_1 named 'NW'.

This problem only occurs when the product was saved with a BEAM 4.5.x version.

This problem will be considered in the upcoming release. Which is currently planed for end November / early December.
I've also created an isssue for this bug (BEAM-1048).

For now you can remove the relevant Pin from the DIMAP file (explained in a comment on the issue).
