The GlobToolbox 1.0
The Glob Toolbox provides functions for the visualisation of various large data products of the DUE Glob series of projects, as well as for the generation, inspection and analysis of time series generated from these global data products. A description of the available functionality is provided in the GlobToolbox 1.0 User Manual. GlobToolbox 1.0 has the following features:
- Opening supported Glob Products
- Visualisation of supported Glob Products, including:
- single bands
- RGB
- Manipulation of the colour table
- Zooming
- Inspecting all values under cursor (all active products)
- Inspecting information (e.g. projection) of a displayed product
- Exporting images of visualised products
- Overlaying different products including the possibility of a transparency overlay
- Loading and overlaying vector data (gdal library supported products)
- Exporting data values as CSV text files
- Exporting data of a given region from a time series of products.

Note: since February 2008, the file name convention for the Medspiration files has changed, and there are files from some new locations (Galapagos, NW Europe). These files are not recognized by the GlobToolbox V1.O because of the different naming convention. These new Medspiration files shall be supported by the new BEAM GIobToolbox.
