Description
In BEAM 4.2 and older, the statistics (min/max/histogram) shown by the VISAT colour manipulation window have been exact, because they where derived from all the samples of a tie-point grid or band..
Since BEAM 4.5, the statistics used by the VISAT colour manipulation window are derived from a lower-resolution version of the data image of the displayed tie-point grid or band in order to speed up the image generation for very high-resolution images. Thus, the statistics displayed are inexact. Exact statistics can be obtained in BEAM 4.5 by using the VISAT statistics computation window. Once the statistics have been computed for all samples, these are also used in the VISAT colour manipulation window.
The VISAT colour manipulation window shall signal that the displayed statistics are inexact, e.g. by using a different colour and/or and additional text. It should ideally also provide an action to compute exact statistics.

A button is added to the colour manipulation window which allows to
trigger the exact histogram computation.
